In its application, the Tual City Islamic Center Mosque applies an Islamic Architecture and Local Architecture approach, with this approach the existing worship activities prioritize Islamic values and also cannot be separated from the values of Local Architecture. The Islamic Center Mosque has the concept of Islamic Architecture as a reinforcement (tawhid) of Islam itself, meaning Islam that is complete, integral, not partial, Syumuliah is not Juz'iyah, while Local Architecture is an architectural style based on local needs, availability of building materials and reflects tradition. local itself. The characteristics of Islamic architecture in the design of the Islamic Center Mosque with an Islamic architectural approach are using wall ornaments, calligraphy, arches, and domes while the local architecture applied to the building is the mosque building in the form of a stage resembling a traditional Maluku house, on the roof of the building there is a symbol of a boat that where the boat is interpreted as a symbol of nomads (although like that, don't forget to establish the 5 daily prayers), and besides that the Cora Ornament is an ornament from Maluku which is applied to the pillars of the mosque building. With the application of the concept of Local Architecture in this mosque building, it becomes a benchmark for regional development in Tual City so that they always pay attention to Local Architecture. The method in this design starts from collecting data, analyzing data, and producing a design concept that will be applied to the Islamic Center Mosque. So that the form of an Islamic center mosque building, both the design of the building to the conditions of the area on the site, the shape of the building and building facilities. So that the Islamic center mosque can become a more effective and efficient place of worship, especially in Tual City, Maluku.
