Arsitektur Islam Pada Bangunan Pondok Pesantren di Kabupaten Gowa

Abstract

Modern Islamic Boarding School in Gowa Regency is a means of education. Modern Islamic Boarding Schools are essentially schools/madrasas that implement the concept of Islamic education based on the Qur'an and As-Sunnah. In its application, Pondok Pesantren Modren or abbreviated as Ponpes is defined as a school/madrasah that applies an implementation approach by combining general education and religious education into a single curriculum. With this approach, all subjects and all school/madrasah activities cannot be separated from the frame of teachings and messages of Islamic values. Islamic architecture is a work of building art that radiates from the physical and metaphysical aspects of the building through the concept of Islamic thought sourced from the Qur'an, the Sunnah of the Prophet, the Prophet's family, friends, scholars and Muslim scholars. There are several characteristics of Islamic architecture, namely Islamic Architecture is an architecture belonging to Islam and Islamic Architecture is an architecture that has Islamic characteristics. The design of this Modern Islamic Boarding School is caused because there is no Modern Islamic Boarding School in Pinrang Regency that provides integrated school/madrasah levels. In this design, there are several zoning zones, namely Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, Madrasah Tsanawiyah and Madrasah Aliah zones, as well as Islamic architectural forms and ornaments that will be applied to designs such as flower-shaped Mashrabiya shapes, horseshoe shapes, calligraphy and building facade ornaments. The method in this design starts from collecting data, analyzing data, so as to produce a design concept that will be applied to Modern Islamic Boarding Schools.
