Bone Trade Center With A Biophilic Architectural Approach

When designing a building, it is best to provide comfort to users in activities that are comfortable and protected from climate. In designing Biophilic architectural buildings, there is a relationship between humans and nature, such as natural lighting, natural ventilation, water elements, indoor greenery and vegetation as supports for eliminating stress and prosperity in the building, where skylights are used in the building which are channeled through the atrium as natural lighting for the building. Openings were made in the north to south direction to utilize natural ventilation and inside the building there are fish ponds and plants that support the natural elements of the building. This is related to the interest of the people of Bone Regency who like things mixed with natural elements. The Bone Trade Center building is one of the shopping center buildings, implementing natural lighting and natural ventilation will reduce the use of artificial products and be more energy efficient. With the Biophilic architectural design concept which provides its own design style, it will create a harmonious and balanced building when inside the building. The method used is a qualitative approach with analysis stages directly based on building case studies. This research aims to provide comfort to users and reduce the number of users of artificial products byusing the Biophilic architecture concept.
