The Effect of the Development of the Coastal Area of Topejawa on the Socio-Economic Condition of the Community in the Village of Topejawa, Mangarabombang District, Takalar Regency

This research is a quantitative descriptive study that aims to determine the extent of the influence of the development of the Topejawa coastal area on the socio-economic conditions of the community in the village of Topejawa, Takalar district. With the multiple linear regression research method consisting of the independent variables (X1) Business Opportunities, (X2) Job Opportunities, (X3) Livelihoods, (X4) Income Levels, then to neutralize the negative effects caused by strategic tourism area development, which is answered using the SWOT analysis method using an internal variable, namely the Condition of the Tojawa Beach Tourism Area. External variables are policy, management and supervision of the area (government). From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the development of the Topejawa coastal tourism area in general has a negative influence on the socio-culture of the local community so that a SO strategy is needed, use all strengths to seize and take full advantage of opportunities.
