Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the
development of the Tolire Lake tourism object in Ternate City and how the
concept of developing Tolire Lake tourism object in Ternate City is. The
data obtained were then analyzed using chi-square analysis test and SWOT
analysis. From the results of the chi-square analysis test that has been
carried out, it can be concluded that the factors that influence the
development of Lake Tolire tourism objects are the variables of tourist
attraction, tourist facilities, tourist infrastructure, information and
promotion and security and comfort. Then from the results of the SWOT
analysis, the concept of developing Lake Tolire tourism objects is obtained,
namely combining the concepts of developing natural tourism, cultural
tourism, and artificial tourism as the main concept in the development of
Tolire Lake tourism objects as regional mainstay tourism, providing
investment opportunities and facilitating all licensing processes in terms of
development to attract the attention of the private sector in contributing to
the development of Tolire Lake tourism objects, improving the quality of
tourism supporting facilities and infrastructure in order to encouraging
regional development and increasing competitiveness and attracting tourists
to visit, the need for information and promotion efforts in the development of
Lake Tolire attractions through the implementation of local events to city
events as a promotional medium for the wider community, as well as the
need for community participation in tourism management in order to
improve the home stey of the community and encourage increased
employment in the tourism sector.
