Colaboration
Journal Collaboration
Journal of Urban Planning Studies (JUPS) has officially established a collaboration with the ASPI Journal Network (Association of Indonesian Planning Schools) as part of its efforts to strengthen the quality of scientific publications in the field of Urban and Regional Planning. This collaboration aims to build a more robust academic ecosystem, encourage knowledge exchange among planning education institutions in Indonesia, and expand the distribution and dissemination network of research relevant to current planning issues.
Through this partnership, JUPS actively participates in academic discussion forums, enhancement of journal governance quality, and the alignment of ethical standards and scientific review systems with both national and international best practices. JUPS is also committed to supporting ASPI’s vision of developing professional planners based on research and innovation through a credible and open-access publication platform.
The ASPI Journal Network is an initiative that promotes synergistic relationships and collaboration among journals managed by member schools of ASPI. This collaboration also includes cooperation between the journal network and the planning schools themselves.
The main goal of the ASPI Journal Network is to support member journals in achieving high quality, national accreditation, and recognition in national and international indexing databases. The synergistic cooperation between journals and planning schools is expected to facilitate the publication of research by faculty members and students, streamline the peer review process, standardize writing quality, and foster the exchange of academic information.
