Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to identify what factors affect the development of mangrove area tourism in binangasangkara, Maros Regency by using quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The analysis method used to find out what factors affect development is using multiple linear regression analysis and to answer the development opportunities of mangrove area tourism in binangasangkara using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study show that there is still a need for the development and utilization of new tourism to increase interconnected attractions, improve supporting and supporting facilities, improve institutional management and increase promotion. Involve and educate the community and establish cooperation with the government and the private sector in tourism development.
