This study aims to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in the development of Patan Traditional House Tourism Objects, Rembon District, Tana Toraja Regency, using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The analysis methods used are Chis-Squer analysis and SWOT analysis. Chis-Squer analysis is used to determine the relationship between two nominal variables. SWOT analysis to determine Internal and External Strategy Factors (IFAS – EFAS). The results of the study show that the supporting factors are attractiveness, good accessibility and good supporting facilities, so the strategy that can be used by optimizing the supporting factors and fulfilling the inhibiting factors is institutional, where management that has not been maximized in the absence of professional management causes a lack of supervision and routine maintenance due to the lack of socialization and education about the development of tourist attractions. Information and Promotion that has not been maximized in the promotion and dissemination of information about the Patan Traditional House Tourist Object is still very limited, so that many people and tourists, both local and foreign, do not know the existence and potential of this tourist attraction.
