The purpose of this study is to find out how the distribution and development of the Location of Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) at petrol stations and shopping centers in the city of Makassar. The variables of this study include, namely accessibility, supporting facilities, security, and land availability. The analysis methods used in this study are Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) analysis to weight criteria or variables and Composite Performance Index (CPI) analysis to weight and rank the ideal location of petrol stations and shopping centers as SPKLU construction locations. After conducting AHP and CPI analysis, the selected location that has a rank of 1 (one) is the best location to carry out General electric vehicle charging station construction
