The purpose of this study is to find out the factors that affect the level of slums in Buloa Village, Tallo District, Makassar City by utilizing information from the database of slums in Makassar City. In addition, this study also aims to provide a strategy for handling slums in Buloa Village based on data obtained from the database of the slum area, so that it can assist the authorities in formulating effective policies to overcome slum problems in the area.
This research approach uses quantitative and qualitative data by collecting quantitative data which then uses Slum Baseline Data Information Analysis The method used to make an analysis in the form of a baseline table of data in Excel can be referred to as a Descriptive Analysis Method with a Baseline Condition Mapping approach. This method is used to describe the initial condition of an area based on various relevant indicators, and is often used in the management of slum data to formulate management strategies.
