The Influence of the Existence of the Beba Fish Landing Base (PPI) on the Economic Condition of the Fisherman Community in Tamasaju Village, North Galesong District, Takalar Regency

This study discusses the influence of the Beba Fish Landing Base (PPI) on the economic conditions of the fishing community in Tamasaju Village. The existence of a Fish Landing Base (PPI) in an area is expected to support the fishing activities of fishery actors so that they are able to contribute to regional development that affects the income or welfare of the fishermen.
The sample of this study was 100 respondents, which is part of the population taken from 5,440 residents in Tamasaju Village. The research method used is a survey method with quantitative and qualitative approaches with the data collection process through observation, documentation, and questionnaire surveys where the sampling uses the Non Probability Sampling and Purposive Sampling methods. Methods of data analysis using Chi-Square, Likert Scale and descriptive analysis.
The results showed that the economic condition of the fishing community in Tamasaju Village seen from the education, income and livelihood indicators showed that there was a significant influence between the existence of the Fish Landing Base (PPI) on the education indicators with a significant value of 0.42 moderate influence, the income indicator significant value. 0.40 moderate effect, and livelihood indicators significant value 0.12 very weak effect.
