Rancangan Museum Kota Makassar yang Ekspresif dan Dinamis

Abstract

The museum exists as a forum to preserve and convey the heritage and history of Makassar City to future generations, it is hoped that it will be able to represent the spirit and dynamics of this city. Apart from that, this museum is expected to become a new cultural icon for the city of Makassar, therefore an expressive and dynamic contemporary design approach was the choice in designing this museum. The purpose of this article is to describe what an expressive and dynamic design plan for the Museum of Makassar City looks like. The result is a museum design that represents an expressive and dynamic museum form reflected in the shape of the building, the function of the space, facade elements and the materials used.
