The aim of this research is to develop a concept for redesigning the Palopo City Central Market as a means of buying and selling goods in Palopo City. In this case, the redesign was carried out while maintaining its identity, while also maximizing the arrangement of internal and external spaces and the shape of the building according to the existing site. The method used in designing this building is the descriptive method. Descriptive method is a type of research whose aim is to collect some data or images which will be described to explain the meaning of the data and images. Using the Neo Vernacular approach. From the design results, it can be concluded that the Palopo City Central Market is intended for the public to get a market that is clean, neat, comfortable and can accommodate all the commodities they need. So that more market visitors will feel happy.
