Autism sufferers have problems with social interaction, communication, imagination and repetitive behavior patterns and resistance (not easily following/adjusting) to changes in their lives routine. This disruption in social interaction causes them to look strange and different from other people. To treat autistic children, one method that can be applied is color therapy. Color therapy is intended to increase children's awareness of their existence in the environment and color can have psychological effects on children. The playroom is the most effective space for therapy, because in the playroom children feel free to express themselves without realizing that they are being treated. It is hoped that autistic children's sensitivity to color will be realized in the playroom by using artificial lighting so that it can "trigger" the child's sensitivity, without having to change the shape or color of the room. Therapy facilities can function optimally if they can interact with the user through a sensory approach, namely by creating an arrangement of space-forming elements that can provide a unique experience, especially for autistic children who are visual learners. Color and light are elements that are easy to capture visually in a space and then lead to shapes and other elements in the space.
