Penerapan Arsitektur Tradisional Modern pada Gedung Pertemuan Resort di Malino Kabupaten Gowa

Abstract

Resort is a residence built in tourist attractions, the purpose of resort development is as an accommodation facility of a tourist activity. In general, the facilities provided at the resort consist of two main categories, the first is that public facilities provide general needs such as accommodation, services, entertainment, relaxation, and the second additional facilities utilize the natural wealth that exist on the site and its surroundings for more specific recreational activities and can describe the naturalness of the resort. The meeting house adopts the shape of the balla lompoa traditional house. Balla Lompoa is located in the middle of Sungguminasa City, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi Province, precisely on Jalan Sultan Hasanuddin No. 48. The location is a cultural site in a complex that is about three hectares wide. The building is designed as attractive as possible in a modern style but still has elements or characteristics of South Sulawesi. So that the building becomes one of the marker buildings for foreign tourists or the archipelago through a modern form, and has cultural value, namely Gowa Regency culture. The method used is qualitative descriptive. Descriptive methods are carried out through primary and secondary data collection. Primary data is obtained through field observations and interviews, while secondary data through previous research studies.
