North Toraja, with its stunning natural beauty, is known as a premier tourist destination, particularly the "Negeri di Atas Awan" (Land Above the Clouds) area. In the context of increasing interest in ecotourism, the planning of an ecotourism-based resort in this region is highly relevant. This planning aims to design a resort in North Toraja that embraces the concept of ecotourism. The planned resort is located in the area known as "Negeri di Atas Awan," a region with breathtaking natural scenery and significant potential to be developed as a sustainable tourism destination. The ecotourism concept was chosen to preserve the environment, uphold local culture, and enhance the well-being of the local community. The research methods used include analyzing the area's potential, reviewing literature, and conducting field surveys involving the community and relevant stakeholders. The research results indicate that the development of an ecotourism-based resort can support environmental conservation, promote Toraja culture, and provide economic benefits to the local community. Recommendations from this research include designing an environmentally friendly resort, integrating with local culture, and implementing management strategies that involve active community participation.
