Abstract

There are differences in the guidance applied to child prisoners and adult inmates as well as child crime in Makassar City which tends to increase so that it is necessary to plan a special training institution for children in Makassar city with a behavioral architectural concept approach that can create an orderly layout in the LPKA building in Makassar City. . The conceptual approach in this design uses the concept of behavioral architecture which is carried out by analyzing the activities of correctional students to create space, because space can affect psychologically, the analysis is carried out using rehabilitative principles where the rehabilitative principle is recreational giving the impression of visual openness so that andikpas can be familiar with their environment. , dynamic with the processing of outdoor space so that inmates do not feel bored and bored when undergoing the coaching process. The research method used is descriptive method with data collection techniques which are then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. From the results of the analysis, the results of the application of behavioral architectural design in buildings are realized through the design of the basic form of the building that uses a rectangular shape that allows for effective spatial planning and facilitates supervision.
